Project: The Supps Co.
VITACOACH
The founder saw a gap in the supplements market and wanted to launch into it. So we created a brand identity and website to get the company to market. Vitacoach is an e-commerce and education platform that connects personal trainers and gym owners with their clients, to offer supplements recommendations. The world of supplements is confusing and overwhelming, so who better to trust than your personal trainer that already knows what you need. Working with a partner agency, Clap Clap Creative crafted Vitacoach’s verbal identity and website design.
A new brand
VERBAL BRANDING
After settling on a brand name, the company needed an identity. They knew what they wanted to do — but this was something the market hadn’t seen before. Complicated by having two distinct audiences (B2B personal trainers / B2C trainers’ clients), the brand needed to resonate with each audience separate from one another. The brand needed messaging that would appeal to trainers’ sales and business growth goals, and to their clients’ desire for simplicity, ease of use, and relationship trust. Ultimately, the identity language was largely universal, with the exception of unique value propositions for each of the B2B and B2C audiences.
Website build (x2)
PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL SITE
We designed the UX and content architecture to describe the company to the public. This site outlines what Vitacoach is, who it serves, why it serves them in ways other companies don’t, and how to use it. There are separate click-journeys for the two audiences: fitness professionals vs fitness enthusiasts.
GATED E-COMMERCE SITE
For users who have signed up to the platform, we built a separate gated website with a different purpose. Once personal trainers have signed up to be members, and once their clients have signed up to shop supplements, there are additional functionalities built into the gated site. This is where users recommend, learn about, and shop for products.
Content Strategy
As a start-up, the client needed marketing support and insights to get its story out. We developed a content strategy that clearly outlined the client’s audiences and sub-audiences, analyzed competitor and peer social media and brand presence, created guides to help them own their social channels, and developed a writing guide specific to their brand voice.
